The 2024 edition of the Swiss documentary film festival Visions du Reel launched 29 projects in the industry section VdR-Industry. The selection of works at various stages of production was made in accordance with the potential for artistic excellence, the strength of the subject and international appeal. Thirteen films were invited by film professionals to pitch their ideas during the four-day VdR Pitching and VdR Work in Progress forums. This year two new cash awards have been announced. The Eurimages Coproduction Development Awards went to Mehran Tamadon’s “The Last Days of the Hospital”, directed by him (My Worst Enemy Bassidji). The Xe Award and CHF 20,000 cash was given to Salvatore of Lucan’s “Life of data room for real estate Tipu” which tells the story of an Irish-Bangladeshi, who finds his estranged dad through Facebook and sets out on a journey to meet him.

CapLinked virtual datarooms enable users from different time zones and countries to easily share edit and save documents. This is extremely beneficial for industries such as oil and gas, in which people are scattered across the globe. A central portal can reduce the amount of money and time which is required for physically managing documents.

When conducting M&A in the energy sector, a VDR is a necessary tool. It helps to speed up the process, ensure compliance and also makes it simpler to share information in a secure manner with several parties. With a fully branded, mobile-friendly interface CapLinked VDRs are easily used from any device.
